Energize and Equip Events

EEEs are half-day leadership development events minus the big costs. Why participate? EEEs are opportunities to sharpen how we lead and parent.

The Pacific Southwest Conference is sponsoring EEEs because. . . We are passionate about raising up young people and growing leaders who trust God deeply.

The Youth Initiative!

What would happen if a generation of students and youth workers intentionally spent time together — in large-scale gathering events, mission trips, and in life and leadership development? We’re creating a community of highly connected teens and emerging adults spanning the southwestern states: young people who form a tribe of friends, who love Jesus and understand themselves as influential world changers at home and abroad.

What We Do

All ministry happens with real people in real places. There is nothing more important we can do than to help local churches and their leaders become all of who God has created them to be. Advancing God’s Kingdom locally and globally requires churches that are healthy and missional; these churches require healthy and missional leaders.

Starting new churches is one of the most effective ways to reach more people in more places with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to start sustainable churches that reflect the multiethnic, multicultural reality and the economic diversity of our region. The percentage of people attending Bible-based Christian churches is declining; new churches are needed to stem the decline and grow the Kingdom.

Children youth and families face challenges and complexities that are greater than those known by previous generations. It is essential that we bring the very best of who we are to them, prioritizing resources and equipping leaders. Homes and churches that model vibrant faith to children and youth are more likely to nurture an enduring faith among the next generation.

Ministry happens best out of a vibrant relationship with God and a dependence on the Holy Spirit. God created and cares for the whole person, and so we encourage a proactive approach to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, interpersonal and physical health of our pastors, staff, lay leaders and spouses. When church leaders are healthy and missional, churches are energized to fully engage in bringing God’s Kingdom to earth.

Following Jesus means reflecting his way of living in mercy and pursing justice. Love Mercy, Do Justice is about resourcing local churches and leaders to engage in transformational community ministries. This flows out of the gospel, and begins with developing cross-cultural awareness and competencies among pastors and leaders.
