HISTORY
AND SCOPE OF ORGANIZATION The
Pacific Southwest Conference of The Evangelical Covenant Church was informally
organized in 1902, a regional association of Covenant churches formed to carry
out ministries that are more effectively and efficiently done together rather
than independently. The Pacific Southwest Conference is organized into
three operating divisions currently headquartered at the administrative office
in Concord, California. The PSWC owns and operates two conference centers: Mission
Springs Conference Center in Scotts Valley, California and Alpine
Covenant Conference Center in Blue Jay, California. The Pacific Southwest
Conference of The Evangelical Covenant Church is incorporated in the state of
California. All Conference financial activities throughout all three divisions
are fully disclosed and certified in audited financial statements. February
22, 2001 marked the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Pacific Southwest
Conference. Read about the first 25 years of the Covenant Church in California
