Being a Church Chair isn’t something you need to figure out alone.

Being a Chair requires time and energy to be ready to lead a team and be in sync with the lead pastor. It requires time with God. With training and curated resources, your work becomes simpler.

Together we will unpack key video teaching from the One-Day Church Chair Training and provide numerous online resources and practical tips.

Come experience bi-weekly Zoom cohort engagement through teaching, stories, and discussion to engage a variety of topics. Samples topics include:

Participant Meeting Commitment: Meet four Thursdays on Zoom, 6:45 – 8 pm PT: 10/15, 10/29, 11/12 and 12/3.

Participant Pre-Work Commitment: Participants are asked to engage 60 minutes of pre-work (video watching and reflection) in preparation for each session.

The Pacific Southwest Conference sponsors this for chairs and vice chairs serving or those preparing for these roles. There is no cost. We highly recommend this training for chairs and vice chairs desiring remote training. This Cohort is limited in size. We encourage you to sign up early, if interested.

Host, Anita Eyer, is our PSWC Chair Ministry Development Partner who brings years of experience with the Covenant’s congregational polity. She has served the Conference over 20 years and has had enjoyed serving alongside four Superintendents. The Cohort also draw on the experiences of chairs, pastors, and several subject matter experts.
